Maybe Bed Bath & Beyond, I Don’t Know If We’ll Have Enough Time

In order to help people take part in our registry, I’ve assembled a fun and easy shopping experience right here on this blog! All you have to do is find an item you like, click the colored text and fill out your information, then voilà!

Don’t forget – we are not actually registering for this stuff! We have opted to channel the generosity of our friends and family to two charities that are near and dear to us: Carry The Load and New Day Foster Home. So when you see the link to the item you want to “buy”, click the link, and donate the would-be price (or whatever you’d like) to the charity. These are amazing causes, so let’s shop and make the world a better place!

Bed Bath & Beyond
No lie, I’ve wanted one of these since they came out, and this one is in my favorite color! But this isn’t about me. At $349, this “aqua sky” beauty (why you’d name a stand mixer that, I don’t know) is a solid investment.

What good is a mixer without cooking vessels? Like those fun silicone muffin tins ($12.99), pizza stone ($29.99), or a fancy Le Creuset rectangular dish ($39.99)!

elephantNaturally, we should have something beautiful to display these culinary masterpieces. I love elephants, so I am partial to this cake stand. For $59.99, it’s a welcome pop of color in any kitchen.

“You have not lived until you have done something for someone who can never repay you.”
– John Bunyan

Pottery Barn
PB Ant BucketIt’s not a party without a bucket of bottles! This vintage party bucket is part of Pottery Barn’s Speakeasy Collection ($129).

The matching cocktail shaker is a steal at $29.95!

And, of course, we should have something from which to drink these delicious cocktails. The set of 6 double old fashioned glasses is a bargain at $60 – that’s only $10 a glass!

And where else would we have this fabulous cocktail party than the patio? A true Texan loves a patio and a beverage, whether it’s sweet tea, bourbon on the rocks, or an ice-cold Shiner. Let’s deck the deck, y’all!

PB SectionalThis 5-piece all-weather wicker sectional (complete with cushions and frame) is sure to be the best seat at the party. Wouldn’t you know, it’s on special for $3,799. Fortunately, because it’s a sectional, you can get in on one section for $649. And we can’t forget the ottoman. At $449, they’re practically giving it away!
Oh, Pottery Barn… *sigh*

Colorful accent pillows are available for $49.95 each!

Don’t forget we’re not actually asking you to buy this stuff for us, but we are asking you to be generous in your gift-giving spirit by donating to the families of fallen heroes and sweet orphan babies with special needs.

Home Depot
washerEvery couple needs a power washer and this one from Ryobi has great reviews. “Ash, what do you need a power washer for?” In addition to the popular use of removing dirt, power washers are also ideal for eradicating spiders and their webs. $159 is not too high a price to pay to get rid of the spiders with 1700 PSI, trust me.

Adam loves working on his motorcycle and car, so a workbench for minifridgethe garage would be fantastic ($249). While he’s out there, he’s bound to get thirsty so a mini fridge would be the perfect companion to the workbench. For only $149, bottles, cans, Nalgenes, and even snacks can offer cool refreshment at his fingertips.

“As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands: one for helping yourself and one for helping others.
– Audrey Hepburn

It is our sincere hope that you find this to be a joyful giving experience. Life is about many things, but the greatest is love – love between a husband and wife, the love of a family, the love of friends, and the love of a merciful God who does not want us to go through this life alone. We just want to share the love, and we hope you do, too.
